Students are expected to actively participate, every day. The first day of a new project is extremely important as this is when the lesson and project planning take place. The subsequent days are, what we refer to as, studio days (work days). If a student misses a day, it is their responsibility to figure out what they missed and discuss and make-up plan, with me. All projects should be photographed and turned in on Google classroom. Students are expected to take creative risks and practice new skills while elevating their own craftsmanship ability. Every student is expected to be respectful of others. This is a safe place where we are able to express ourselves. Being disrespectful, to others or to oneself, will not be tolerated. Lastly, students are expected to try their best. Art can be intimidating, but I do not expect perfection. Art is never perfect!
