Welcome to the 25-26 school year at Kirkwood Middle School! I am excited to be your child's reading teacher this year! I was born and raised in California where I met and married my husband. I graduated from Austin Peay with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and started my career with CMCSS. Kirkwood is the 3rd school I have had the wonderful opportunity to work at during my 20 years as an educator. David and I have three amazing sons! Nathaniel, Benjamin is a 8th grader here at Kirkwood and Matthew is in 6th grade at Richview Middle. Outside of school we have a very busy life with travel baseball, middle school baseball and middle school football. I firmly believe that for a student to be truly successful there must be a strong school-home relationship built on mutual trust and respect, and I am always available to address any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year.
