Welcome to 6th grade Math! I am so excited to be teaching your child and working with you. This will be my fourth year teaching 6th grade here at Kirkwood Middle School. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree from Austin Peay State University. Originally from Dallas, I grew up in the Army and have lived in the Ft.Campbell/Clarksville area since the early 80's. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Fred, for over 35 years. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I love to travel, especially to the beach and the mountains. I feel each child is a unique individual with his or her own learning style. I strive to create a positive supportive environment where that uniqueness is embraced. I look forward to guiding your child as he or she reaches their full potential this year!
